CAPABILITIES

  • Silk Fabric_edited.jpg

    ICECORE® Cooling Fabric Advantages:

    Overview:

Icecore® is our proprietary cooling yarn, co-developed with Donghua University and engineered to solve the limitations of conventional PE-based cooling fibers. It offers lasting performance with comfort-first design.

    Pros:

    • Permanent cooling (engineered into the yarn structure, not a surface treatment)

    • Soft, matte finish — more fabric-like feel compared to the glossier look of LDPE or HMPE

    • Built-in moisture-wicking

    • Blends well with bamboo, FR yarns, or nylon for various applications

    • Proven in U.S. bedding and pillow markets

    Cons:

    • Slightly higher cost than LDPE

    • Lower elasticity unless blended

    • Best For: High-performance cooling protectors, pillows, premium bed covers, and patented private label collections.

    Interested in Patent Exclusivity?

Certain Icecore® product configurations may qualify for territorial exclusivity or private-label use under our patent license. If you're exploring new market positioning or want to lead with innovation, contact us to discuss exclusivity eligibility and co-branded development opportunities.

    Cooling Nylon Advantages:

    Overview:

    • A synthetic fiber engineered for stretch and softness, with surface cooling additives or blended yarns.

    Pros:

    • Smooth, soft handfeel

    • Excellent stretch and flexibility

    • Good cooling sensation (with additives or cross-section filaments)

    • Durable for long-term use

    Cons:

    • Moderate moisture-wicking

    • Lower environmental sustainability

    • Cooling effect may wash out over time (non-permanent finishes)

    • Best For: Apparel-like bedding, fitted covers, hybrid blends.

     LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) Advantages:

    Overview:

A plastic-derived cooling fiber known for its strong contact cooling, often used in mattress toppers or laminates.

    Pros:

    • High contact cooling (“cold to the touch”)

    • Low cost and widely available

    • Lightweight

    Cons:

    • Stiff, less breathable

    • Low moisture absorption

    • Poor long-term softness

Best For: Low-cost cooling toppers, laminated protective covers.

  • Silk Fabric_edited.jpg

    HMPE (High-Modulus Polyethylene) Advantages

    Overview:
Ultra-strong polyethylene fiber with excellent heat dissipation properties.

    Pros:

    • Outstanding thermal conductivity

    • Very durable and abrasion-resistant

    • Lightweight

    • Long-lasting performance

    Cons:

    • Higher cost

    • Slightly stiff feel unless blended

    • Not breathable on its own

    • Limited availability in textile-grade blends

Best For: Premium cooling toppers, technical applications (hospitality, medical).

  • Silk Fabric_edited.jpg

    Bamboo Rayon Advantages

    Overview:

Regenerated cellulose fiber made from bamboo, known for softness and breathability rather than direct cooling.

    Pros:

    • Naturally breathable

    • Very soft and silky handfeel

    • Sustainable and biodegradable

    • Antibacterial and hypoallergenic

    Cons:

    • No direct contact cooling effect

    • Not as durable as synthetics

    • Requires blending for strength

Best For: Summer bedding, skin-sensitive products, sustainable collections.

Innovation meets collaboration

Introducing

ICECORE

In 2017, Delan Home established a formal R&D partnership with Donghua University, China’s leading textile engineering institute, to solve a persistent challenge in the bedding industry: how to combine long-lasting cooling performance with commercial scalability and comfort.

Together, we developed and patented ICECORE®—a next-generation cooling yarn tailored for bedding.
